Thank you
for responding to our Jiaogulan Survey!
Listed below are the answers to the questions from the first half
of our survey.
1. Is this your first time to hear about Jiaogulan?
If you haven't heard of Jiaogulan, it's no big surprise.
Although the use of Jiaogulan can be successfully documented back
to 16th Century China, it is widely unknown in Western countries.
Only in the 1990's did Jiaogulan and its components become available
for suggested usage outside of China.
Recent scientific experimentation in the USA, Japan and China
have assured it's future as a known support for many bodily systems.
We're just trying to help it along the way.
2. Do you know what an Antioxidant is?
Surprisingly, Oxygen is one of the elements we need to live and
a great destroyer inside the body. The body produces natural Antioxidants
to rid the body of Oxygen-gone-astray in the form of dangerous Free
Radicals. When our body is stressed from modern-day living, we need
to produce more Antioxidants.
Antioxidants such as Vitamin C and Jiaogulan Tea slow the degenerative
processes inside the body that lead to disease.
3. Do you know what an Adaptogen is?
In 1947, a Russian scientist, N.V. Lazarev used Adaptogen
to describe a category of herbs that normalize bodily functions. An
Adaptogen is a substance that brings about homeostasis, the natural
equilibrium of the body's internal functions.
4. Do you know which diseases are Degenerative diseases?
Degenerative diseases are those diseases caused by aging and stress
on the body.
The degenerative diseases associated with aging include cardiovascular
disease, immune system decline, brain dysfunction, and cataracts.
Stress is a major factor in degenerative diseases and chronic illnesses.
Perhaps the single most damaging effect of stress is the crippling
of your immune system. Many scientists believe that the cause of
premature aging is a chronically weakened immune system which leads
to a reduction in the length and quality of your life.
5. Do you know any Chinese herbs that are used in
the West?
Ephedra (Ephedra sinica), known as Ma Huang, is a member of the
family of herbs known as the Ephedracae. It has been used in China
for more than 4000 years to relieve symptoms of asthma and upper
respiratory infections.
American ephedra, native to the dry southwest, was used as tea
by the early settlers, and was known as "Mormon tea" and
"Squaw tea." It has also been used in the support of headaches,
fevers, colds and hay fever. Today, compounds derived from this
herb are commonly found in many over-the-counter cold and allergy
medications such as Sudafed and Actifed.
Asian Ginseng (Panax Ginseng) and Dong Quai (Angelica Sinensis)
have become readily known in Western medical circles.
6. Do you know why Ginseng is so popular?
Japanese researchers discovered that the chemical components (Saponins)
that in Ginseng are also in Jiaogulan. The
most popular Ginseng has 28 Saponins and Jiaogulan has 82!
Studies show you should not take Ginseng
if you have headaches, palpitations, insomnia, hysteria, mania,
schizophrenia, and high blood pressure or are hypertensive.
7. Do you drink herbal teas?
We suggest drinking herbal tea from personal experience and the
testimony of friends and family. Jiaogulan Tea from Thailand is
healthy, naturally sweet and has a refreshing taste.
Would you be interested to drink Jiaogulan Tea for
a 3-month trial?
Many people notice vitality effects of Jiaogulan Tea after only
one or two weeks. We recommend 1.5 to 2 grams (2 teaspoons) in 250
